Elizabeth Hodgson creates metal sculpture of varying scale. These can be one off pieces for exhibition, privately commissioned work based around my own personal concept or commissioned community projects working with a large group of participants to make work about their location or community. The participants are encouraged to create elements themselves that can then become incorporated into the final piece which will eventually become part of that community.
Elizabeth also runs one off workshops that stand alone and participants create a piece of their own to take home and display in their own space. Hammered aluminium leaves have been very popular and currently projects with hammer aluminium fish to display within a steel sculpture or wall hanging are in progress.
